Deborah Kennedy is one of Australia’s leading Film, Television and Theatre actors. Her substantial theatre credits include work with every major theatre company in Australia. Amongst these credits are Woman in Mind, Major Barbara, Soulmates, The Comedy of Errors for The Sydney Theatre Company; for Belvoir Street Theatre: What the Butler Saw, The Little Cherry Orchard and the original workshop and subsequent Australian tour of Picasso at the Lapine Agile with Steve Martin. Other theatre credits include Cosi for the Melbourne Theatre Company and Blithe Spirit for State Theatre Co. South Australia.
Deborah has worked extensively in television – some recent credits include The Murray Whelan Series, R.A.N., Small Claims and Bastard Boys.
Deborah’s extensive film credits include Tim, Death in Brunswick and The Sum of Us, all of which earned her AFI nominations. Other film credits include Thank God He Met Lizzie, Idiot Box and Swimming Upstream. More recently Deborah worked on the Australian feature Elise starring Natalie Imbruglia.
